2022 FFA State CDE Awards

The Labette County FFA Chapter recently traveled to Manhattan, Kansas to compete in the State FFA Career Development Events in Agriculture. The level of competition in all contests was very high with schools competing for the right to represent Kansas at the National FFA Career Development Events in Agriculture next fall in Indianapolis. The delegation sent by the Labette County FFA Chapter dominated the competition and earned the sweepstakes award for top FFA chapter in the state of Kansas. Aside from the success, the students on winning teams and high individuals will receive a total of $5,200 for their efforts. In addition, Lakin Giager was offered a scholarship from the Kansas State University Department of Agronomy for her outstanding effort.
